April 27, 2017 - Version 2.3.09

  • Deleted the Pacific Star fault (FID 67) per recommendations from Caltrans Geologist. The fault is currently shown as a small dot on the fault map. (The deletion resulted in errors in the deterministic calculation routine starting on April 26. This error was corrected on April 27.)

November 30, 2016 - Version 2.3.08

  • Corrected dip direction in Los Osos Fault (FID 232) to SW. Corrected fault type in Silver Creek Fault (FID 148) to SS.

March 4, 2016 - Version 2.3.07

  • Corrected an error in the Albers projection calculation. The error was limited to sites along a very narrow band along latitude 38.0 and involved a small error in distance calculations.

November 20, 2013 - Version 2.3.06

  • The GoogleMaps API v2 codes were updated with API v3, as Google discontinued support for v2 effective November 20, 2013.

  • Restructured website and updated php codes to patch security vulnerabilites.

  • Fid 419  Foothills Fault system - southern reach (Bowie Flat Fault)

  • Fid 422  Foothills Fault system - north central reach (Deadman Fault)
  • Fid 423  Foothills Fault system - north central reach (DeWitt Fault)
  • Fid 424  Foothills Fault system - north central reach (Hwy 49 Fault)

  • FID 71 was not showing (as well as surrounding faults).  Bug was due to a comma in fault name.

  • Updated index.php to fix the mouse-over message in the Vs30 form field .
  • Updated shakeResult2.php to present the near-fault input window in all cases.

January 16, 2013 - Version 2.0.5

  • The northern portion of San Andreas (San Bernardino N.) (FID 294) was assigned to San Andreas (San Bernardino S.) (FID 325)

  • San Andreas (San Bernardino N.) (FID 294) was assigned a Mmax=7.4 (reduced from 7.9)

  • A small gap was closed between San Andreas (San Bernardino S.) (FID 325) and San Andreas (Mojave) (FID 258).

  • Oceanic-West Huasna (FID 223) was respecified as Reverse.

  • Age specifications (H or LQ) were changed to be consistent with Caltrans Fault database V2b.

  • Reassigned fault segments in the San Simon region.  The previous northern portion of Hosgi (FID 213) was reassigned to San Gregorio (FID 178) and the land portion of the Hosgri was assigned to FID 418 ( San Simeon fault zone - Arroyo Laguna section).
  • Old Woman Springs -Lenwood-Lockhart (FID 237) was renamed Lenwood-Lockhart

  • Updated the Errata Report with a single combined document (Errata_Report_120109.pdf).
  • Updated the list of faults that are "flagged" to match the updated Errata Report.
  • Fixed an issue in the tabular/print view pages so that the fault metadata (with the exception of "Frev" and "Fnorm") is consistent with that shown in the Google Maps info bubbles for the faults.
  • Updated the backend MySQL database with the latest fault info from 2007_Fault_Database_113009.xls.

  • Fixed an issue where the minimum spectrum was not being shown when no faults were within 80km (Needles, CA).
  • Fixed an issue where the correct envelope data was not being shown in the tabular data (Amador City, CA).
  • Added this "Website Updates" page to track changes to the site.
  • Fixed the street view tool to be compatible with the latest GoogleMaps API.

  • Fixed an issue where an different site icon would show up after the user enters a coordinate initially.
  • Changed the default zoom level to level 4 following a location search.
  • ARS Online versioning implemented.
  • Fixed an issue where the "calculating...please wait" message would lock up the site when using the browser's "back" button to return to home page.
  • Updated the database for the fault metadata presented in informational balloons within the map interface (intranet site only).
  • Fixed an error in the analysis routine associated with the Ventura Basin.
